Fujairah Police launches a campaign "Traffic safety for cyclists"
Fujairah, 7 January / WAM / The Fujairah Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, is organizing the events and activities of the first quarterly campaign for the year 2025 under the slogan “Traffic Safety for Cyclists” starting from the beginning of January 2025 and for a period of three consecutive months.
The campaign comes within the plan of traffic awareness campaigns of the Ministry of Interior and the Fujairah Police General Command, approved by the Federal Traffic Council, as an embodiment of the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior and the traffic sector, which is to enable safe transportation using modern traffic systems, and the initiative to consolidate the principles of traffic culture through traffic awareness programmes.
The campaign aims to spread awareness and traffic culture among bike drivers and users of the importance of adhering to the standards and requirements necessary to prevent the risks of bicycle accidents of all types and to avoid the dangerous practices of using bicycles on the road to reduce traffic accidents, injuries and deaths.
The campaign contributes to strengthening the role of social responsibility among all segments of society to achieve safety for all.
