This came during the press conference held today, Wednesday, in the presence of Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabir, member of the Board of Trustees and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, Prince Salman bin Mohammed bin Salman bin Mohammed bin Saud bin Faisal, member of the Board of Trustees and member of the Executive Committee, and Prince Abdullah. Bin Faisal bin Khalid bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, member of the Board of Trustees and member of the Executive Committee, and the Secretary-General of the Award, Professor Fahd Al-Maghlouth, and a number of media professionals and those interested in social work, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.
Prize winners
The conference began with a welcoming speech from His Highness Prince Saud bin Fahd to the attendees, and he said: It is a beautiful occasion to renew the meeting with you tonight to celebrate the announcement of the winners of the Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work.
He stated that the award, since its seeds were planted by Her Royal Highness Princess Seetah bint Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on her – has been reaping its fruits year after year, and continues to affirm the pride of this nation and its men and sons who compete to do good, and confirm their love and loyalty to the nation through national humanitarian and social initiatives that affirm The flesh of this country.

He expressed his happiness at announcing the names of the winners of the award in its six branches, which will be announced by the Secretary-General of the award, Dr. Fahd Al-Maghlouth, offering his congratulations to the winners.
Then, Dr. Al-Maghlouth explained, during his speech, that nomination applications were received, which reached 722 applications in all branches of the award, and from all segments of society, and the applications were processed through the Sorting and Auditing Committee, and the First Scientific Evaluation Committee.
After identifying the nominated entities worthy of field visits and observing their work closely and directly, and after ascertaining the direct impact of those works on the lives of the beneficiaries, meeting their needs, and achieving the goals of social work that the award seeks to establish; The jury unanimously agreed that 10 candidates won.

Community bids
Then Dr. Al-Maghlouth announced the names of the winners in the six branches, and they are: He won in the “Excellence in National Achievement” branch, shared equally with the Ministry of Interior – General Directorate of Prisons for the Farajat Electronic Service Initiative, and the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing for the Cities Development Initiative, and in the “Excellence in Endowment” branch. The Islamic “Sarawat Endowment” won for the Madak Schools Initiative.
In the “Excellence in Social Work Programs” branch, the award was awarded equally between the Tamim Association for the Samaya Center for Housing Volunteering initiative, and the Gross National Foundation for the initiative of the project to establish the Nimal Social Investment Company, and the award in the “Excellence for Social Work Pioneers” branch was won by Mr. Saleh Hamza Al-Sayrafi for the initiative Social investment.

As for the “Excellence in Social Responsibility” branch, the award was awarded equally between the National Consolidated Purchasing Company (NUPCO) for the Illuminating Efforts for Social Work Initiative, and NEOM Company for social responsibility initiatives and programs in NEOM, and finally in the “Environmental Sustainability” branch, the award was awarded equally between the Ministry of Social Affairs branch. Health in the Najran region, for its social investment initiatives, and the National Center for Wildlife Development, for the Decade Journey Project initiative to explore the Red Sea.
Al-Maghlouth concluded by saying that the award appreciates the rich contributions of the nominated entities and appreciates their community contributions to wish them good luck and success. It also wishes success to those who were not lucky in the coming times. The award appreciates the role of the Board of Trustees for its continuous support, and thanks everyone who contributed to the success of the session, including workers and arbitration committees.
