المملكة: Kingdom’s weather: cold weather, active winds, and rainfall continue
The National Center of Meteorology, in its report on the weather conditions today, Thursday, for the regions of the Kingdom, expects the continued impact of active winds on parts of the regions of Tabuk, Medina, and Makkah Al-Mukarramah, as well as on parts of the Eastern Province.
While the weather is still cold in parts of the north and center of the Kingdom.
The sky will also be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of light rain in parts of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and it is not excluded that fog will form during the night and early morning hours in parts of those areas, as well as in the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha.
Red Sea
Surface winds: easterly to northeasterly at a speed of 20-45 km/h, turning northeasterly to northwesterly in the evening at a speed of 12-32 km/h in the northern and central parts.
Southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 12-32 km/h in the southern part, reaching more than 50 km/h in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Wave height: from one and a half to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching higher than two meters in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Sea condition: Moderate to wavy in the northern and central parts, light to medium waves in the southern part, reaching wavy in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Arabian Gulf
Surface winds: North to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, reaching more than 45 km/h, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the southern part.
Wave height: from one to two metres, reaching more than two metres, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the southern part.
Sea condition: Moderate to wavy, with thunderstorm clouds forming over the southern part.
