Egyptian riders dominate the first day of the Qatar International Equestrian Championship

Egyptian riders succeeded in dominating the races of the first day of the Qatar International Equestrian Championship, in a distinguished achievement, as they achieved honorable results in the 130 cm high hurdles competition with the participation of 111 riders from 32 countries around the world, and in the presence of Dr. Ismail Shaker, President of the Egyptian Equestrian Federation.
The jockey Ali Osama won first place and the gold medal on the horse “Obama,” while the jockey Ismail took first place. Al-Borai placed third and received a bronze medal on the horse “Kaduki”. Seventh place on the horse “Magic City”.
These impressive results come within the participation of a huge Egyptian delegation that includes 27 riders and 31 horses, which is one of the largest delegations in the history of the Egyptian Equestrian Federation.
This success comes in light of the efforts of the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to lift the veterinary ban. Regarding Egyptian horses, which continued for more than 20 years, these efforts contributed to returning Egypt to the international arena in equestrian sports, after it had relied on horses residing abroad to participate in tournaments. International.
The Egyptian achievement in the Qatar Championship reflects the great development of equestrian sports in Egypt, and confirms Egypt’s strong return to international competitions.
