“General Assembly” Bahrain qualifies more than 200 Bahrainis with UX Design skills

In an inspiring achievement that reflects the General Assembly Bahrain Academy’s commitment to empowering national cadres and qualifying them to be the first choice for employment, we succeeded in graduating more than 200 Bahrainis specialized in user experience design (UX Design). This achievement reflects the success of our strategic partnership in empowering Bahraini youth and empowering a generation of national competencies to lead the digital transformation process across the Kingdom.

Being one of the first academies to provide user experience design education in Bahrain, General Assembly has succeeded in being the cornerstone of meeting the growing demand for skilled local technical talent. Through our intensive training programs, fully supported by the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), we seek to prepare our students to become distinguished professionals, able to enter the labor market with confidence and contribute effectively to developing the innovation capabilities of local companies.

Our graduates have a clear presence and tangible impact in Bahraini digital transformation, as they have been able to occupy advanced positions such as “User Experience Designers”, “Interface and User Experience (UX/UI) Designers”, and “Innovation and User Experience Trainees” in major institutions such as Bank Gulf International, Tamarin, Benefit Pay, The Family Office, Ministry of Interior, and Bahrain Medical City. Their success stories reflect not only their personal achievements, but also the widespread and growing recognition of the importance of user experience design as a fundamental pillar of business success and development in Bahrain.

Commenting on the practical approach we adopt at General Assembly, Bayan Saeed, a recent graduate and currently a UXUI Designer at K-labs, expressed her experience by saying: “Through my journey with General Assembly, I found the perfect balance.” Between applied education and professional development, the professional guidance and wide network of relationships provided by General Assembly within the sector played a pivotal role in opening new horizons for me, which helped me achieve my dream and join the company. “User Experience Design is my ideal job.”

Our approach, based on practical applications, vision and realism, has proven to be an essential element in meeting the requirements of employers who are looking for highly skilled professionals who meet the needs of the changing market. In this context, Khaled Al Balushi, CEO of K-Labs, commented: “General Assembly’s impact goes beyond traditional education, as they prepare professionals who are able to add real value from day one.

As one of those who have employed their graduates, I have always been amazed by their flexibility and speed in adapting to complex projects, as well as their ability to provide innovative and effective solutions.” He added: “General Assembly graduates have a unique combination of deep technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.

Because their education is not only limited to understanding the principles of user experience design, but also mastering and applying them effectively to achieve tangible results that enhance the success of organizations and support their competitiveness.”
