المملكة: Scrap cars and gas cylinder sellers were seized in Al Aziziyah, Jeddah

The Jeddah Governorate Municipality carried out a large-scale monitoring campaign in the Al-Aziziya area, which resulted in the confiscation of eight transport vehicles loaded with quantities of “scrap,” in addition to seizing vehicles used to sell gas cylinders in random ways.
The mayor of Al-Aziziyah, Heba Al-Balawi, explained that the supervisory teams in the area were able to monitor irregular activities for transporting “scrap,” as violations were dealt with in accordance with regulations and the seized quantities were confiscated.

Previous campaigns

Al-Balawi added that, in continuation of previous campaigns, the municipality monitored transport vehicles used to sell gas cylinders in random and unsafe ways, noting that these efforts come within the framework of the municipality’s ongoing plans to monitor all violations and improve the urban landscape, with a focus on preventing random practices that harm the environment and public safety.
The Jeddah Municipality appreciated the cooperation of citizens and residents in improving services by reporting violations through the “Baladi” application or through the Unified Center for Reporting Service 940.
