Sharjah Special Education showcases its experience at the Educational Technology Exhibition in London

Sharjah, January 20 / WAM / The Sharjah Private Education Authority is participating in the activities of the Educational Technology Exhibition and Conference (BETT 2026), one of the most prominent international forums specialized in educational technologies, which is hosted by the British capital, London, during the period from 21 to 23 January this year, through an integrated interactive platform that highlights the pioneering educational experience of the Emirate of Sharjah in the various educational stages, and highlights the continuous development process pursued by the emirate in the education sector.
The authority’s platform hosts 6 educational institutions representing the higher education sector in the emirate: the Sharjah Education Academy, the University of Sharjah, the American University of Sharjah, the University of Dhaid, the University of Khor Fakkan, and the University of Kalba, in addition to 10 private schools that visit the exhibition, witness the accompanying workshops, and conduct field visits to distinguished schools.
Participating entities also display on the authority’s platform their academic experiences, qualitative initiatives, and best practices in employing modern educational technologies.
Ali Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, head of the participating delegation, said that the Authority’s participation in this event embodies the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah to invest in education as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development, stressing that employing advanced educational technologies has become a pivotal element in building a flexible educational system capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the future.
He added that the purpose of participating in this global forum is to introduce educational institutions to the best of modern technology in education, and to consolidate the position of the Emirate of Sharjah as a global center for excellence and innovation in this field.
During its participation in the exhibition, the Sharjah Private Education Authority is organizing two main dialogue sessions, the first of which addresses the education system in Sharjah from pre-kindergarten to the twelfth grade, and the second focuses on higher education in the emirate with the participation of an elite group of experts and academics.
The two sessions highlight the most prominent educational initiatives and practices in the Emirate of Sharjah and the Authority’s role in developing the educational system and promoting investment in education as one of the main drivers of sustainable development.
