The Olympic Technical Committee adopts new mechanisms to enhance communication with federations

Dubai, 14 January / WAM / The Technical Committee of the National Olympic Committee approved the formation of internal teams from its members, each of which will undertake the task of communicating with a specific group of federations with the aim of enhancing communication and effective participation, provided that visions are prepared and the necessary solutions are developed in preparation for submitting them to the Board of Directors of the National Olympic Committee. To ensure the best possible results are achieved at all levels.
During its meeting yesterday via the video communication application, headed by Nasser Al-Tamimi, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Olympic Committee, the committee discussed how to activate joint work with sports federations in a sustainable manner, and distribute roles and tasks to members to follow up on various aspects.
During the meeting, ways of developing technical work with sports federations and raising the level of coordination between the two parties were discussed and reviewed, in a way that would benefit the level of the Olympic movement and its results in the country.
Yesterday, the Technical Committee held a joint meeting with various sports federations at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in Dubai, where a number of topics related to sports participation and events were discussed during the current year, most notably the Third Asian Youth Games hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it represents great importance in the agenda of sports tournaments. Because it is a qualifying station for the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Senegal next year, which requires redoubling efforts and early preparation to ensure that the largest number of athletes qualify and represent the nation in this important event.
The Technical Committee has set the 30th of January as the date for sending the technical and financial plans to the sports federations regarding participation in upcoming forums, with the start of the preparation stages for the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain starting from the first of next March, as well as preparations for the sixth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games. Hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during November 2025.
For his part, His Excellency Nasser Al-Tamimi confirmed that the technical committee is keen to open permanent channels to communicate with all sports federations and discuss their development proposals for technical work in various sports, indicating that the next stage will witness more cooperation and holding meetings on a regular basis to review all the updates received from the organizing committees of the games. Sports at many levels.
He appreciated the interaction of the representatives of the sports federations with the committee and their initiatives in raising many essential issues based on their expertise and experience, which can be benefited from and built upon in all games, explaining that the committee is in the process of circulating the technical regulations as soon as they are received from the games tournament committees in order to learn about all their provisions.
