Guidelines to enhance safety and security during Eid Al Fitr in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority issued prevention and safety guidelines during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, and called on the public to adhere to precautionary measures during the celebrations, in order to preserve the safety of individuals and property in the emirate.

They called for not to be distracted from anything other than the road, to reduce speeds in residential areas, to make way for emergency vehicles, not to use or handle fireworks, to be responsible while driving vehicles, to avoid showing off or being reckless, and to prevent children from playing or crossing the street without supervision.

They stressed that the instructions come within an integrated proactive plan that includes intensifying security and traffic patrols on main roads, vital areas, gathering places, commercial centers and public parks.
