Jordan stresses the need for Israel to stop threatening Lebanon’s security

Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, stressed today, Thursday, the need for Israel to adhere to the ceasefire and stop any aggression against Lebanon, its sovereignty, and threats to its security.
The Jordanian Al-Mamlaka channel quoted Al-Safadi as saying, in press statements following his meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace, that Jordan is looking with its partners in the world to provide the army with the basic capabilities and capabilities it needs to carry out its role.
He stressed that Jordan absolutely stands by Lebanon, its security, stability and sovereignty, indicating that Jordan is confident that the new leadership in Lebanon is capable of moving forward.
Minister Safadi arrived today at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport on a visit during which he will meet with Lebanese officials.
According to the Jordanian Al-Mamlaka channel, during the visit, Al-Safadi conveyed a message from King Abdullah II to the Lebanese president.
