Border Guard ground patrols in the Raboua sector in the Asir region thwarted the smuggling of (495) kilograms of the narcotic qat plant, and the initial regulatory procedures were completed, and the seized items were handed over to the competent authority.

Security regiment patrols in the Jazan region also managed to arrest a citizen for selling the narcotic qat plant hidden in a vehicle he was driving in Al-Arda Governorate. He was stopped, legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authority.
The General Directorate of Narcotics Control arrested a citizen in the northern border region for peddling pills subject to medical circulation regulation. He was arrested, legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution.
