100 international and local teams to compete in the UAE Tactical Teams Challenge

The organizing committee of the UAE Tactical Teams Challenge announced that the number of teams participating in the challenge, including special units, rapid intervention teams, and tactical teams from different countries of the world, that registered to participate in the challenge competitions this year exceeded the barrier of 100 teams, for the first time in the history of the challenge since its launch in Year 2019.

The committee pointed out that the continued registration of teams at the international and local levels in the challenge, which will be launched on the first of next February in its sixth edition, reflects its continued success after the previous five editions.

The Dubai Police General Command, represented by the Organizing Committee of the UAE Tactical Teams Challenge, will organize the global event activities in the training city in Al Ruwayyah, during the period from February 1-5, and the specialized teams from the police and specialized agencies and units will compete in five main challenges, leading to the podiums and receiving prizes. And medals, while registration is still open to international teams until the date of the start of the challenge.

It is worth noting that the UAE Challenge for Tactical Teams seeks to enhance the level of competitiveness, increase the space for exchanging experiences between the participating tactical teams, provide the opportunity to learn about the latest international practices in the field of work of rapid intervention unit teams, and measure the extent of efficiency and readiness in dealing with various challenges.

The international teams participating in the challenge will compete in five competitions: “Tactical Operations Challenge,” “Assault Challenge,” “Officer Rescue Competition,” “High Tower Challenge,” and “Obstacle Crossing,” while each competition requires each team to follow… Tactical methods, physical fitness, and high skill abilities in order to score points on a daily basis.
