The US Supreme Court unanimously upheld a federal law banning the TikTok app as of Sunday unless it is sold by its parent company based in China.
The US Supreme Court explained that the threat to national security posed by the company’s relationship with China outweighs the concerns of the TikTok application or its 170 million users in the United States related to restricting freedom of expression.
