Al-Karbi and Al-Dhaheri top the two-star category in… "International sail"

Abu Dhabi, January 17 / WAM / Rider Ali Mufarrej Al Karbi and Saga de La Roche topped the first two-star competition in the International Sailing Championship, achieving 30.91 seconds with the participation of 105 riders in two groups, within the special two-stage competition sponsored by Majestic, on 120 cm hurdles.
Equestrian Muftah Al Dhaheri with “Easy Nice de Langlade” won first place in the second group competitions with a time of 32.16 seconds, with the participation of 52 male and female riders.
The tournament will be held under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Women’s Sports Academy, President of the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club and Al Ain Ladies Club, owner and founder of Al Shiraa Stables, from January 16 to 19 in Abu Dhabi.
German rider Christian Hellmann, riding his horse “Otteringo Alpha Z,” topped the qualifying competition for the Grand Prix, achieving 57.62 seconds according to the specifications of one round, sponsored by Nirvana, with hurdles 150 cm high, with the participation of 48 male and female riders.
The jockey Abdullah Al-Marri with the horse “James VD Odd” came seventh, and the jockey Ali Hamad Al-Karbi with “Garlin de Torres” came eighth, with a result without error.
The Egyptian jockey Abdel Rahman Ikram, riding the mare “Gridiot HBC,” won the first place award in the opening of the four-star competitions, according to the specifications of one round, achieving 59.75 seconds, with hurdles 140 cm high, with the participation of 61 male and female knights, sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Equestrian Nadia Abdel Aziz Taryam won the title of the two-stage competition with Gabrielle Sieur, sponsored by Bolsworth, on the 140 cm hurdles, with the participation of 54 male and female riders, with a second stage time of 27.20 seconds.
The Bahraini horseman, Sheikh Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa, won the first place award with the horse “HBR Even Flow”, and completed the round with a time of 56.04 seconds in the one-round competition in the two-star category sponsored by Glance, with hurdles reaching a height of 125 cm, with the participation of 96 male and female horsemen.
The second qualifying competition for young jumping horses aged 6 years, from the countries of the seventh regional group, with the specifications of the two stages, sponsored by Al Sheraa Farm, witnessed the participation of 32 horses, and was led again by the mare “Victoria”, led by the British rider Charlotte Wilker, achieving 27.27 seconds.
