President of the Handball Federation: Happy to qualify…and we will play the Croatia match for the top spot
Khaled Fathi, head of the handball federation and head of our team’s delegation in Croatia, expressed his happiness with the victory over Bahrain, and said: “ Praise be to God, the second victory in a row, by a large margin, and qualification to the main round .. And of course, what is coming next is more difficult, and the Croatia match will remain which we will play at the top of the group, especially as we are heading towards the very difficult main round, which will include two teams from Europe in the next stage of competition “
Khaled Fathi was keen to thank the technical staff and players for the great effort, and said that the technical level is developing, but we still have the best to offer.
 
The President of the Handball Federation also thanked the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, who follows the team throughout the day and explained that he contacted them before the match to check on them and motivate them and after the match. To congratulate them..
It should be noted that our team defeated Bahrain in the second round today 24/35 and secured qualification for the main round after winning the first round over Argentina 25/39.. We will play Croatia next Sunday in the third round.
