The Kingdom’s participation in the Davos Forum confirms its global economic standing

The Kingdom’s participation in the annual meeting in Davos stems from the position it occupies as one of the 20 largest economies in the world, and as a global leader in the energy sector, and because of the appreciation and respect it enjoys among the countries of the Arab and Islamic world, and among countries of the entire world.
He added: The Kingdom’s participation in this forum embodies two important aspects of the “Kingdom’s 2030” vision, the first of which is: the Kingdom’s orientation towards positive interaction with the countries of the world in order to enhance the strength, growth and sustainability of the global economy, in its various sectors and fields.
Second: The Kingdom’s view of developing and attracting investments as a major element and a fundamental pillar for achieving comprehensive development goals, towards which its national vision, its executive programmes, and the many initiatives and strategies emanating from it, most notably the National Investment Strategy, push towards it.

Meeting the world’s leading investors

Al-Falih stressed that the Saudi House event, which will accompany the participation of the Kingdom’s delegation in the annual meeting of the Davos Forum, will be an opportunity to inform visitors about the journey of transformation that the Kingdom is experiencing, and its path full of achievements, in several fields, including culture, innovation, tourism, and sustainability.
In addition to presenting the investment opportunities available in various vital sectors in the Kingdom.
He explained that the Kingdom’s presence and active participation in Davos provides the opportunity to meet with major investors from all over the world, and in many economic sectors whose growth and development the Kingdom gives special attention to.

It also represents an opportunity to showcase the successes achieved in the areas of developing the investment environment and attracting investment capital to a market that is considered the largest in the Middle East and the Arab world.
It also enjoys many competitive advantages, including the fact that it is a geographical link between 3 of the world’s continents and a number of its largest markets.

The Minister of Investment stated that the Kingdom’s participation in this World Economic Forum represents an opportunity to shed light on the reasons that make the Kingdom an attractive competitive environment open to business and investments, and suitable for directing investors’ investments to it.
It also reviewed the tremendous progress achieved within the framework of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030, in order to build a vibrant, sustainable national economy characterized by diversity, and a developing and comprehensive global economy.
