Indonesia.. A landslide caused by heavy rain kills 16 people

16 people were killed and 10 injured as a result of a landslide in Indonesia, caused by heavy rains in Central Java province in Indonesia, according to a local police official, today, Tuesday.

The police chief in the city of Pekalongan in Central Java, Doni Prakoso, told the local broadcast network Metro TV: “16 people have been confirmed dead. As for the wounded, ten were taken to hospitals and the nearest local health center.”
