The Minister of Sports meets with the Board of Trustees of the Youth and Sports Development Center in October "Al Jazeera 2"

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, met with the Board of Trustees of the Youth and Sports Development Center in October “Al Jazeera 2” Headed by Dr. Amr Al-Haddad, Head of the Central Administration for Sports Development, in order to review the latest developments related to the center after the launch of the trial opening since mid-October of last year.

 

The Minister of Sports explained that the center has Its establishment cost 250 million, all of which was self-financing, far from burdening the state with any financial burdens. This represents an important shift in reliance on self-resources, which achieves and relieves the state of any financial expenditures and also ensures the financial efficiency of the center, as revenues from memberships have been achieved. New revenues and other miscellaneous revenues have exceeded 28 million pounds in the past five months since the announcement of the launch of the center’s trial opening.

 

 Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, added that work has been done. Returning the assets of all the Ministry’s properties to create a different and unconventional diversification of investment in the sports field for projects affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

This makes the total area reach 18 acres to accommodate memberships and provide more sports, social and cultural services at the center.

 

While the Center’s Board of Trustees promised Youth development and sports in October “Al Jazeera 2” The Minister of Sports has decided to diversify the center’s sources of income by following unconventional methods and not relying for financial income on revenues from sports activities, but we have visions towards bringing more investments that will represent distinctive income returns for the center, which is what has already begun to be followed and implemented during the coming periods.
