Ajman Chamber discusses opportunities for trade and investment cooperation with Guinea

Ajman, January 21 / WAM / The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed the prospects for economic cooperation, development of intra-regional trade and investment opportunities available with the Republic of Guinea, especially in the sectors of infrastructure and services, agriculture, education, health, tourism, building and construction, and the real estate sector.

This came during the meeting held by His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Chamber, with His Excellency Sekou Sharifki Camara, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guinea to the UAE, this morning at the Chamber’s headquarters.

Al Suwaidi stressed the keenness of the Ajman Chamber to enhance cooperation in various economic fields with Guinea to serve common interests. He provided an explanation about the most prominent investment opportunities in Ajman and the promising sectors such as education, health, tourism, industry, building and construction, and the real estate sector, stressing the commitment of the Ajman government to providing quality services. An advanced infrastructure enhances the ease of doing business and attracting investments.

During the meeting, the agenda of annual exhibitions in Ajman was reviewed, and the Guinean side was invited to participate in it, most notably the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition and the Ajman Real Estate Investment Exhibition.

For his part, His Excellency Sekou Sharifki Camara reviewed direct investment opportunities in Guinea in the construction, infrastructure and services sectors, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Emirati investors and provide an attractive investment environment that supports long-term partnerships and Guinea’s interest in benefiting from the UAE’s pioneering expertise in implementing major projects and achieving sustainable development.

The Guinean ambassador expressed his keenness to attend the Ajman Education and Training Exhibition, praising the reputation and quality of higher education in the Emirate of Ajman and the opportunities available to international students, expressing his interest in facilitating the sending of students from the Republic of Guinea to study at universities and educational institutions in Ajman.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials in the chamber, and the delegation accompanying the Guinean ambassador.
