Great demand from creators for the award "Shams for Arabic content "

Sharjah, January 21 / WAM / The “Shams for Arabic Content” Award, which was launched earlier by Sharjah Media City (Shams), witnessed a large turnout from creators, content makers, and institutions interested in this initiative.

This was announced by Sharjah Media City (Shams), adding that the unique initiative seeks to enhance the production of purposeful and innovative Arabic content and focuses on encouraging creative talents to produce distinguished content in the fields of digital media and social media, with a focus on cultural values ​​and Arab identity, out of Sharjah Media City’s belief in the importance of encouraging creativity. And innovation in the field of Arabic content.

Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director of Media Production Services at Sharjah Media City, confirmed that the volume of participation in the “Shams Award for Arabic Content” in various categories confirms that the award has achieved its desired goals, most notably encouraging creative talents to produce distinguished content in the fields of digital media and social media, and spreading the concept of a culture of excellence among people. He praised the ranks of workers in this sector, praising the efforts of those in charge of the award and the judging committees and the keenness of the target groups to participate in it and contribute to spreading the culture of excellence, creativity, quality and mastery.

The “Shams for Arabic Content” Award categories include: Best Short Film, Best Video for a Commercial, Best Arabic Podcast, and Best Social Media Content Creator. The total prize value is 300 thousand dirhams, and the names of the winners in the various award categories will be announced on February 6.
