ABU DHABI, 22nd JANUARY / WAM / The Council of Muslim Elders participates in a special pavilion in the 56th session of the Cairo International Book Fair, which is launched under the slogan “Read In the beginning was the word,” during the period from January 23 to February 5, 2025, in Cairo. This is based on the Council’s message aimed at promoting peace, consolidating the values ​​of dialogue and tolerance, and building bridges of cooperation and human coexistence.

Throughout the exhibition, the pavilion of the Muslim Council of Elders presents more than 250 diverse intellectual and cultural publications, including a number of the latest editions of the Elders for publication in 2025.

And in conjunction with the preparations of the Muslim Council of Elders to organize the Islamic-Islamic Dialogue Conference during the month of next February, in response to the call of His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, to strengthen Islamic affairs and Muslim unity, and to affirm that religious brotherhood is the motivation for brotherhood. The pavilion of the Council of Muslim Elders also includes more than 20 works by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, which aim to introduce the tolerance of Islam and the richness of its intellectual and philosophical heritage.

The Muslim Council of Elders’ pavilion at the Cairo International Book Fair hosts more than 14 cultural and intellectual symposiums in which a group of scholars, thinkers and academics lecture, discussing pivotal topics and issues.
