The UAE National Mixed Martial Arts Championship will be held over two days
Abu Dhabi, January 22 / WAM / The UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation announced the extension of the UAE National Mixed Martial Arts Championship to be held on Saturday and Sunday, January 25 and 26, instead of one day, at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.
According to the statement issued by the federation, this step comes in the wake of the great demand from male and female players from different age groups to participate in the tournament, which reflects the increasing popularity of mixed martial arts in the country.
The organizing committee modified the tournament schedule to accommodate the significant growth in the number of participants in each category, while ensuring an integrated competitive environment.
The increase in tournament days reflects the Federation’s keenness to keep pace with the aspirations of the players and the public, which contributes to developing the sport of mixed martial arts and enhancing the participants’ experience.
