المملكة: Riyadh.. Operating a drinking water purification station in Artawiya to serve beneficiaries

The National Water Company, represented by its central sector, announced the completion of the implementation and operation of a drinking water purification station in the Artawiya Center in Al Majmaah Governorate in the Riyadh region.
Its daily operating capacity is five thousand cubic meters, with a total cost exceeding twenty-seven million riyals.

The project aims to serve more than fourteen thousand beneficiaries in the Artawiya Center and its surrounding areas.

The company confirmed that the project comes within the framework of its continuing efforts to keep pace with the increasing demand for water, improve the efficiency of operational operations, and enhance the services provided to customers.

She explained that the project included the establishment of a pumping station with an operational capacity of more than five thousand cubic meters per day, in addition to the establishment of a ground reservoir with a capacity of ten thousand cubic meters and a water filling station to provide water tank service around the clock.

Strengthening the water distribution system

The company indicated that the project aims to raise the rate of pumping desalinated water in the Artawiya Center to twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
It comes within its strategic plans that aim to raise operational efficiency, enhance the water distribution system, achieve water security and provide sustainable water services in all regions and cities of the Kingdom in accordance with the approved time plans.

The National Water Company stressed its commitment to applying the highest quality standards in implementing its projects in order to achieve the desired goals and contribute to strengthening the infrastructure of the water and environmental services sectors in the Kingdom.
