المملكة: King Abdulaziz University honors the winners of the electronic games competition
The Dean of the College of Computers and Information Technology, Dr. Iyad Kateb, and the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Fouad Abu Laban, won the winners, where he achieved the award for the best game of “Beit Forge” team, its representative, the student Fahd Al -Hawas, Muhammad Al -Harbi and Muhammad Khayyat.
The “Elite” team also won the innovation award, represented by the students, Fahd Al -Ghamdi, Muhammad Yamani, and Abdul Aziz Al -Maliki, and the “Ocean” team won the award for the best visual design represented by the students, Jana Al -Asiri, Rimas Al -Jadaani and Hamam Al -Baqmi.
Developing national competencies skills
The competition aimed to develop national competencies skills and provide them with modern and emerging skills to keep pace with the rapid changes of professional sectors in line with the needs and requirements of the labor market and future jobs, and the development of human capabilities in the field of design and development of electronic games, and providing a comprehensive view of the design and development of video games.

In addition to preparing and refining professional players and developers, who are able to design and implement integrated electronic games, using the latest tools and technologies available, as part of their keenness to develop the digital capabilities of the sons and daughters of the country.
The Hakaton coordinator noted with the Digital Games Association, Dr. Hind Bitar, that the choice of the winners was very difficult due to the presentation of all the participants, advanced games models at a high competitive level, God willing, with the future of global posts in the future.
