The President of the State confirms the UAE’s keenness to build fruitful partnerships with countries in the fields that serve development

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today, Irkli Cobachidza, Prime Minister of the Republic of Georgia, who is on a work visit to the state.

His Highness, during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – welcomed the Prime Minister, wishing Georgia and its friendly people the permanence of goodness and prosperity.

His Highness and the Prime Minister of Georgia discussed the paths of the development of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the investment, commercial, economic and agricultural fields, renewable energy, the environment, sustainability and other vital aspects that receive common attention within the development plans of the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues and issues of common concern, foremost of which is related to the consolidation of peace, security, stability and development in the region and the world.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE’s keenness to build fruitful partnerships with friendly countries, especially in areas that serve joint development.

His Highness pointed out that the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the two countries that entered into force last year 2024 represents a major qualitative shift in the path of economic cooperation … and we are keen to achieve the goals of this agreement in the interest of joint development.

For his part, the Prime Minister of Georgia expressed his thanks to His Highness the President of the State for the warm reception, stressing his country’s interest in expanding the horizons of its cooperation with the UAE in a way that serves their common interests and pays sustainable economic development and prosperity.

The two sides expressed their aspiration that the coming period witnesses more development of Emirati -Georgian relations to advance the sustainable development in the two countries in light of the availability of many ingredients that enhance these aspirations.

The meeting was attended by the team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Agency, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Muhammad Bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Ahmed bin Ali Muhammad Al -Sayegh, Minister of State, Muhammad Al -Abbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors The officials … also attended by the accompanying delegation of the Georgian Prime Minister, which includes a number of ministers and senior officials.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Prime Minister of Georgia also witnessed the signing of an investment memorandum on the establishment of development development projects in Georgia.

The memorandum, Mohamed Al -Abbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Eagle Hills” and on the side of the Georgian side, was signed by Lifan Davita Chefili, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, and Torneki Regevzzzah, Prime Minister of Adjara, which enjoys self -rule in the presence of a number of officials of the two countries.
