Sharjah, January 27 / WAM / The Economic Development Department in Sharjah organized a meeting today with investors and entrepreneurs within its initiative, “Sharjah Economic Council”, at the headquarters of the department with the participation of a number of owners of companies, investors and entrepreneurs from various sectors.

His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al -Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Economic Development in Sharjah, stressed that this meeting discusses ways of joint cooperation between the department and representatives of companies from the private sector to provide the best services and provide them with all the laws and legislations issued related to their activities, as well as receiving their development notes and continuous work to develop the work of these companies in a way that enhances the position of Sharjah The economic map and the development of all sectors in the emirate to comply with the highest quality standards according to the finest global practices and in support of the various economic sectors and their sustainability.

He said that the Department of Economic Development is working to provide an ideal climate for investment and the continuity of business in a way that contributes to encouraging companies to develop their business and facilitate and attract more investments and enhance the competitive business environment in it in order to achieve a number of goals aimed at encouraging investment in Sharjah, indicating that the department continues to develop its services in a way that enhances all Economic sectors and work with all local and federal bodies to provide and develop more services for the purpose of supporting and ensuring their sustainability.

For their part, the owners of companies, investors and entrepreneurs praised such meetings, stressing their keenness to continue their effective role in advancing the economic wheel in the emirate and supporting the government’s efforts to activate the role of the private sector to be a strategic partner in achieving comprehensive development in the emirate and also valued the support that the department attaches to private sector facilities Her tireless keenness and determined efforts to enhance their role contribute to developing their various sectors.
