The European Union agrees to send a civilian monitoring mission to the Rafah crossing

Kaya Kallas, European Union foreign policy chief, said on Monday that the bloc will resume a civilian monitoring mission at the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt.

Kalas added: “Everyone agreed that the European Union border assistance mission in… The Rafah crossing can play a decisive role in supporting the ceasefire.
