The sixth authentic Arabian horse race starts tomorrow in Al Dhafra

Al Dhafra on January 28/ WAM/ The activities of the sixth authentic Arabian horse race in Zayed Square, organized by Liwa Sports Club, will start tomorrow, Wednesday.
The race is held over two halves, with the first half a distance of 1700 meters, while the second half is 1400 meters long. This race coincides with the 2025 community initiative that aims to enhance societal cohesion and revive heritage and cultural ties.
This race is part of the series of events organized by Liwa Sports Club with the aim of enhancing heritage sports in the Al Dhafra region, and highlighting the sport of authentic Arab horse racing as an integral part of the Emirates identity and ancient heritage.
The club sent an open invitation to the fans from all segments of society and fans of equestrian sport to attend this event, enjoy the atmosphere of the race and encourage the participants.
Sultan Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the club, confirmed that the race embodies the club’s vision in supporting heritage sports, and contributing to preserving the Emirati cultural heritage, while providing a platform for local talents to shine in this ancient sport.
