Funding exceeding 50 billion dollars .. The conclusion of the African Energy Summit works

The African leaders concluded, in Dar Al -Salam in Tanzania, yesterday, the African Energy Summit, where the participants presented more than $ 50 billion to reach energy in Africa.
The Presidency of the Summit in Tanzania said in a statement: “The Dar Al Salam Energy Declaration” is a detailed station in the processing of the energy gap in Africa, where more than 600 million people live without electricity.

Energy production enhancement

The statement added that African leaders signed the advertisement, according to which everyone is committed to expanding energy access, enhancing the use and implementation of concrete reforms and measures to expand access to reliable and sustainable electricity to support economic growth.
In addition to improving the quality of life and providing job opportunities on the continent, explaining that this advertisement is an essential part of an initiative entitled “Mission 300”, which connects 300 million Africans to electricity by 2030.

It is noteworthy that the Dar Al Salam Declaration defines strategies to reduce electricity costs, reduce dependence on firewood, and enhance clean energy production, which provides hope for a brighter and sustainable future for millions throughout the continent, as leaders pledged to provide electric energy at appropriate prices for all in the next five years.
