The activities of the 12th session of the World Government Summit are launched in the Emirate of Dubai from February 11 to 13, 2025, under the slogan “Future Government’s anticipation”, with standard international participation, which is the largest in the history of the summit.
The Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the head of the World Government Corporation, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al -Qarqawi, confirmed that the summit, for 12 years since its inception, has become the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, the largest and most influential global forum that the world’s governments ahead of the meeting and dialogue, the development of scenarios and paths of their transition to the future, and the creation of milestones in their societies to sustain progress and prosperity.
He said during his speech in the “World Government Summit Dialogue” that was held yesterday, at the Future Museum in Dubai, to review the most prominent axes and developments of the summit: “This distinguished position of the global government of governments has established with an exceptional vision that the summit adopted throughout its history, based on a unique model that establishes proactive planning for the future mainly For all government work policies, and in its top priority, it aims to empower man and the development of societies, and he sees in international participation and cooperation the fastest and most successful means to achieve goals and goals and generalize good for all ».
He revealed that the new session is witnessing the participation of more than 30 heads of state and government, and more than 80 international and regional organizations, in addition to 140 government delegations and elite leaders of international thought and experts, and in the presence of more than 6000 participants, and he also indicated that this session includes an expanded agenda with qualitative activities that include 21 global forums, discussing major global future trends and transformations in more than 200 interactive sessions, in which more than 300 international personalities speak, from presidents, ministers, experts, thinkers and decision makers, in addition to holding more than 30 round tables and ministerial meeting, with the participation of more than 400 ministers, The summit issued 30 strategic reports in cooperation with international knowledge partners.

The World Government Summit at its new session achieves an important shift in global participation in its activities, which does not stop at the size of the standard participation, which is the largest in the history of the summit with a jump exceeding 50% over the last year’s session, but rather extends to the largest diversity witnessed by the summit for the first time since its inception, Which includes representation of all continents of the world and its country, in addition to the diversity in the agenda of events that include various sectors and fields affecting the formation of the future and the development of global societies.
Among the most prominent leaders of states and governments participating in the summit are the President of the Republic of Madagascar André Nerina Rajolina, the President of the Eastern Democratic Republic of Timor, Jose Ramos Horta, Prime Minister of the Commission Dominica State Dr. Roosevelt Skrit, Prime Minister of the Suleiman Jereima Maneli Islands, and the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, Masrur Barzani.

6 main axes in the summit agenda
The summit agenda in its new session includes six main axes dealing with effective governance and responsibility, global economy and future financing, cities flexibility, crises and climate faces, the future of humanity, capacity development, global health transformations, and future prospects for emerging trends such as artificial intelligence and sustainability technology.
The agenda includes 21 forums, within the activities of the summit that brings together the largest number of ministers, government officials and leaders of the main sectors, where it discusses the most important developments and developments in these sectors, and the activities of the preliminary day of the summit include February 10, 2025, the Arab meeting of young leaders and the General Finance of the Arab States, And the young Arab leadership forum, while the activities of the first day on February 11 include the Future of Mobility Forum, the Artificial Intelligence Forum, the Government Services Forum, the Future of Education Forum, the government exchanging forum, and the future work forum.
The second day of the summit includes within its activities the emerging economy forum, the comprehensive development goals forum, the Arab Government Administration Forum, the government bureaucracy forum, the Cooperation for Development Forum, the Future Economy Forum, the Geographical Technology and Policy Forum, while the third includes the World Health Forum, and the Climate Change Forum , The Gender Balance Forum, the Future of Governmental Communication Forum, and the Global Forum for Legislation.
