Dubai, February 1 / WAM / In the framework of the activities of the 17th session of the Emirates Airlines Festival for Literature, the “UAE” project, sponsored by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture”, overlooks a set of qualitative cultural experiences with the aim of presenting a platform to present and support Emirati literary intellectuals. Which gives them the opportunity to express their rich ideas and active participation in literary and intellectual events and festivals on the international scene. The “UAE” axis is witnessing the participation of 43 writers and creators, speaking in 36 dialogue and discussion sessions, held during the festival period, which will continue until February 3 in Dubai.
The axis provides a unique opportunity for Emirati writers and intellectuals to communicate with a wide audience and interact with a group of international intellectuals participating in the festival to support and appreciation of Emirati literary productions at the local and international levels, which enhances Dubai’s position as a pioneering cultural and creative center in the region.
Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector in “Dubai Culture”, stressed the commitment of the authority to upgrade the culture and arts sector and ensure its sustainability and development, noting the importance of supporting local creators and enhancing their presence on the cultural scene, stressing that the Emirates Airlines Festival represents a platform Interactive allows intellectuals from all over the world to celebrate their creativity in Dubai.
