After his international success .. Learn about the developments of the “Art of the Kingdom” exhibition

After his success in his first international station in Rio de Janeiro- Brazil, the Museums Authority announced its preparations for the opening of the “Art of the Kingdom” exhibition, at its second station in Riyadh, where the Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art in Jax will host it from February 24, 2025.
The exhibition, which is the first touring exhibition of contemporary Saudi art, presents a set of various artworks, including paintings, structural works, sculptures and videos, bearing the signature of 17 artists of the most prominent contemporary Saudi artists and deals with the history of the Kingdom, the memory of its people and its cultural heritage from a contemporary perspective, a contribution to building narratives New cultural.
The exhibition is attended by: Muhannad Shono, Lina Qazzaz, Manal Al -Dhawyan, Ahmed Zaidani, Moaz Al -Awfi, Ahmed Mater, Ahed Al -Amoudi, Shadia Al -Alam, Faisal Samra, Ayman Yousry Deedan, Dania Al -Saleh, Falaa Nazer, Sarah Ibrahim, Ahmed Ankawi, Nasser Al -Salem, Basma Flemban, and Fatima Abdel Hadi.

Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art

The hosting of the “Kingdom of the Kingdom” at the Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art in Jax comes after the success of the exhibition in its opening version in the imperial palace in the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, as it was launched in conjunction with the holding of the G20 summit and attracted 26,000 visitors within two months.
The second version of the exhibition, which will be held in Riyadh, is characterized by additional artworks that were not shown in the opening version and were designed and produced specifically for the Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art in Jax.
The exhibition will continue from February 24 to April 24, 2025, and tickets will be launched soon on the Wek platform.

It is noteworthy that after hosting in Riyadh, the exhibition will move to China to be presented at the Chinese National Museum in Beijing, in conjunction with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People’s Republic of China.
The exhibition “The Art of the Kingdom” reflects the commitment of the Museums Authority to support Saudi artists by promoting their works on the local and international arenas, as well as in line with the vision of the Saudi Museum of Contemporary Art in Jax to empower artists and enhance exchange and cultural dialogue through art.
