"Family development" and"Emirates to care for the righteousness of parents" Expect a cooperation agreement

Abu Dhabi, February 3 / WAM / The Family Development Foundation signed an agreement with the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents, to cooperate and provide social services aimed at enhancing the quality of life and well -being of senior citizens, residents and those coming at this stage, which contributes to promoting family stability and societal cohesion in the cities and regions of the emirate all.
The agreement was signed, at the Jabal Hafit Community Center of the Family Development Corporation in Al Ain, His Excellency Maryam Mohamed Al -Rumaithi, Director General of the Foundation, and His Excellency Counselor Ahmed Salem Sodin, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, in the presence of a number of officials and employees of both sides.
Al -Rumaithi said that signing the agreement to serve an important category is the leading citizens, makes cooperation between the two sides fruitful and achieves positive results that would support their common aspirations, and supports their strategic directions in the service of this category, which is one of the priorities of the Foundation, especially after expanding the new specializations, to provide the best ways Care for senior citizens.
She emphasized the keenness of the Family Development Foundation, to enhance cooperation with the various parties in the public and private sectors, to achieve its goals derived from the vision and directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, To enhance the quality of the lives of senior citizens, provide support to them and enhance their social interaction.
She pointed to the importance of the agreement in implementing events, activities and services targeting senior citizens, and cooperation in the field of preparing social studies and research, and the exchange of statistical data and the results of studies, which humiliated the challenges that may hinder the provision of services to senior citizens.
She praised the efforts of the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents, to strengthen the concept of righteousness with parents, and its endeavor to enable the category of senior citizens and provide support and care for mothers, parents and the elderly, in line with human values and Emirati societal principles.
For his part, Counselor Ahmed Salem Sodin, Chairman of the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents, praised the Dorm of Family Development in providing distinguished social services to the family and senior citizens.
He stressed that the association pays great attention to providing the best care for senior citizens, through its programs that aim to improve the quality of their lives, noting that this agreement comes within the framework of cooperation to ensure the provision of services that meet their needs effectively and sustainable.
