The first flights of the beneficiaries of the “Makkah Road” initiative from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan left to the Kingdom via the initiative hall at Islamabad International Airport, heading to Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah.
The departure process was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan, Nawwaf bin Saeed Al -Maliki, and the Minister of Religious Affairs in Pakistan, Sardad Muhammad Youssef.

The initiative aims to provide high -quality services to the guests of Rahman from the countries that benefit from them, by receiving them and ending their procedures in their countries easily and easily, starting with taking vital characteristics and issuing the Hajj visa electronically, through the end of passport procedures at the country of departure, after verifying the availability of health requirements, coding and sorting luggage according to transportation and housing arrangements in the Kingdom, and moving directly to buses To deliver them to the headquarters of their residence in the regions of Makkah Al -Mukarramah and Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah, with custom paths, while the partner authorities hand over their belongings to them.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Interior implements the initiative in its seventh year in cooperation with the ministries of “Foreign Ministry, Health, Hajj and Umrah, Media”, the General Authority for Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “Sayaba”, the General Endowments Authority, the Guests service program, and the General Directorate of Passports.
