Dubai Culture and Serkal Arts reveal the syntactic artwork "Wind ringing"

Dubai, February 3/ WAM/ “Dubai Culture”, in cooperation with the Serkal Arts Foundation, revealed the syntactic artwork “Wind Resonant”, which was implemented in the historic Al -Shindagha neighborhood within the strategy of “Art in Public Places”.
The initiative aims to provide unique artistic experiences that enhance Dubai’s position and enrich its creative identity, in an effort to turn it into an international art exhibition open to all.
The detection of the artwork “Ring Wind”, which was created by designer Maryam Namour and architect Nada Salmanour and under the supervision of the artistic value Munira Al -Sayegh within the activities of the 13th edition of the Sikka Festival of Art and Design.
The “wind ringing” represents a striking addition to the Al -Shindagha neighborhood with its rich visual vocabulary and was the fruit of an in -depth study of the historical and social importance of the neighborhood, as it consists of three suspended metal paintings, reflecting the interaction between the visual and sound elements of the neighborhood.
The work calls on the public to take care and listen to the interaction of wind and water with architecture, which stimulates meditation in time and the importance of the historical and cultural region.
Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector in “Dubai Culture” stressed the importance of art in public places and its role in highlighting the culture of Dubai and its historical Iraq and considered it an inspiring platform to enhance the role of the creative community in supporting cultural industries.
For her part, Munira Al -Sayegh stressed that art in public places is one of the most important means of artistic expression due to its ability to directly reach the public, and added that “wind ringing” expresses Dubai’s commitment to culture and the Serkal Foundation for the Arts to enhance the role of art in society and encourage cultural dialogue, which enriches the scene Creative and draws a common visual vision for the future.
