Iraqi striker Ayman Hussein to the Qatari Al -Wakra

Al -Wakra signed the eighth of the Qatari football league standings with the Iraqi international striker Ayman Hussein to loan from Al -Khor, according to Wednesday.
“The 28 -year -old Mesopotamia striker joined Al -Wakra on loan until the end of the season,” the club said in a statement.
The deal looked part of a reciprocal process, after Al -Khor announced at the same time the inclusion of Cape Verde striker Ricardo Gomez, from Al -Wakra by loan as well until the end of the season.
Hussein played eight games with Al -Khor in the league without being able to score any goal, and he was absent for a period of the beginning of the season due to the injury he suffered with his country in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against the Omani team.
Hussein had previously had professional experiences with the Tunisian clubs of Sfaxien, the Moroccan Sports Sports and the UAE island, as well as Umm Salal and Al -Khaikhiya in Qatar between 2021 and 2023.
On the other hand, Gomeis played with the north last season and scored 12 goals in 22 games before moving to Al -Wakra, but he did not appear in the desired image.
Gomeis had previously played for Portuguese Gemarish and then moved to several clubs loaned before spending two years in the ranks of the Serbian Partisan Belgrade.
Al -Wakra is ranked eighth with 17 points, 10 points behind Al -Khor, the downtown after 14 stages on the start of the league.
