Palestinians from Gaza respond to Trump: “We live or die here.”

In Gaza, which tens of thousands of Palestinians have returned to the ceasefire agreement, many sleep on the ruins of their homes and do not know what tomorrow will be hidden. But after Trump’s proposal, the sector made an American ownership, confirming that their choice is one “living or death here.”

“I am invaded, my father and my grandfather from here. We are a father who is very serious. They can do what they want, we will remain steadfast in our homeland. We will not leave. We have only one option: living or death here,” says Ahmed Hiles, 41.

Amid the scattered rubble everywhere, the streets of Gaza City appeared on Wednesday, filled with people again … The market beats with life, the sellers’ stalls abound on the side of the road, and transport vehicles roaming alongside the pedestrians.

Badri Akram, 36, says that he sleeps on the wreckage of his destroyed house because of the war, and says, “I prefer to leave,” adding, “We will not leave whatever. Life. We will remain steadfast on our land, the land of our ancestors. “

After they were displaced for many months, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have returned to the northern Gaza Strip during the past days, after a strenuous trip during which they passed long kilometers on foot, after the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Hamas movement entered into force. Many of them brought with them a treachery to live in it after the mass destruction came to their homes and property.

– “Since the year 1948”
“We have been fighting for the refusal of displacement since 1948. Therefore, we reject this. We are fighting displacement from more than 76 years … Since then we are still refusing to drive out of our land. This is our land,” says Ahmed Al -Manawi, 24, says.

Thousands of Palestinians were displaced from their villages and cities in 1948, after a war called Israel “the war of independence” while the Palestinians describe it as “the Nakba”. Since that date, millions of Palestinian refugees residing inside and outside the Palestinian territories have been “right to return.”

“We have returned. We went back despite the tremendous destruction and despite the lack of infrastructure, water and the lowest essential ingredients for life. We returned because we are categorically rejecting the displacement.”

– An Israeli reaction
In Tel Aviv, Israelis welcomed Trump’s suggestion. Eliao Lizorkin, 22, said that Trump’s plan for Gaza “looks very good. At first glance, it looks like a crazy idea, but all that Donald Trump says it is crazy, and at first it turns out to be true.”

“No proposal for Gaza has succeeded, so I hope that this will succeed.”

“It is self -evident that it must be fair to the Palestinians as well,” he said, adding, “If someone wants to live in peace with Israel, why not?” Let’s make it beautiful. They cannot reject the offer. “

On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump revealed a plan that allows the United States to control the Gaza Strip and resettle the Palestinians in other countries, whether they want to leave or not, and said that his country “will possess” the Gaza Strip and turn it into “Middle East Rvira”.

Trump’s positions have sparked angry reactions between the Palestinians and an orthodox in the world.
