Amman and Kuwait top the Sharjah theatrical Awards
Sharjah, February 6/ WAM/ The theater administration in the Department of Culture in the Sharjah Government announced the names of the Sharjah theater Award for theater “Theatrical texts for adults 2024-2025” under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, which aims to support And stimulate theatrical authorship in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The Omani writer Osama bin Zayed Al -Shaqsi won first place for his “Dream yesterday” text, while his compatriot Naim bin Fatah Mabrouk finished second on his text “Sahil Al -Shataya”, while Kuwaiti writer Musa Mohammed Bahman won the third place for his text “The Security of the Monetic “.
According to the award, the first -place holder receives a sum of 100 thousand dirhams, while the second -place winner receives 50 thousand dirhams, and the third place winner is 25 thousand dirhams, provided that the winners are called to attend the award ceremonies during the upcoming “Sharjah theatrical days” course.
