Hamdan bin Mohammed inaugurates a boat "Corvette Emirates P111"
Dubai, February 7 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and His Excellency Lieutenant General Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al -Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, the Emirates Corvette boat “P111”, which was designed according to the latest standards of global military technology.
His Highness stressed during the inauguration that the launch of the Emirates Corvette “P111” reflects the commitment of the navy to develop their defensive capabilities and enhance its capabilities to protect the waters of the state and its strategic interests, noting that this achievement constitutes a qualitative addition to the role of the navy in securing the coasts and waters of the state.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the national efforts that contributed to the design and development of this advanced boat, stressing that investing in advanced military technologies enhances the position of the UAE in the field of defense and keeps pace with global developments, and establishes the ability of the armed forces to carry out the tasks assigned to it The fully at all times.
After the inauguration, His Highness called for continuing innovation and working to enhance national competencies in the various defense sectors; To ensure the readiness of the armed forces and their ability to deal efficiently with any possible future challenges.
It is worth noting that the boat is characterized by innovative panoramic sensors and an advanced security unit for collection and processing of data (PSIM), which includes advanced sensors that include radars, electrobia devices, the electronic warfare group, communications capacities, and shipy weather systems, which makes it a unique model of efficiency and operational preparation.
