Mohamed Al Sharqi witnesses the conclusion of the second round of the Fujairah mountain shooting championship and crowns the winners

Fujairah on February 8 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the leading global position that the Emirate of Fujairah has in organizing international championships, and the qualitative sporting events that rise to the sports sector in general at the national and international level.
This came during the attendance of His Highness the conclusion of the second round of the Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship, which was held under the auspices of His Highness, in the Wadi Gob area in Fujairah, in the presence of Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, head of the Fujairah Authority for Culture and Information.
His Highness pointed to the support and follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for sports championships that enhance heritage sports in general, shooting in particular, and contribute to supporting the state’s strategy and global vision in this field.
His Highness praised the level of organizing the tournament and the efforts of the organizing committee, which contributed to achieving its goals and outputs according to the highest international standards in arbitration, organization and results.
Saif Al -Zahmi, head of the organizing committee of the tournament, said in his speech during the closing ceremony, that the success achieved by the championship in its first edition made the version of this year 2025 important stations for a large number of international archers, as it had the participation of 427 participants from 37 countries around the world who formed a presence Wide, they praised the championship site and its good organization, which confirms the enhancement of its position in the shooting competitions on dishes all over the world.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah honored the strategic partners of the championship and its shepherds as an valuation of the role they played in supporting the championship, which led to the success of its second version, namely the Fujairah Police, the Dubai Police General Command, the iM.M., the Fujairah Petroleum Industries Company (Woz), and the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation.
His Highness also crowned the winners of the official competitions with the first three places in the four categories (adults, young people, women, and open category).
It won the first place in the Italian open category de Thomasi Enrique, and the Hungarian Andrich Sher Daniel came second, while the American Miles Gibbin won third place.
In the women’s category competitions, the American Karen Miles ranked first, and French ranked in second place, and her citizen Leah Outaget is in third.
The first place was kidnapped from the French junior category, Bastian Lang, then came the American competitor Joseph Vaiezi second, and the French Hugo Bardo third.
The first place was ranked in the category of the British contestant, Michael Gray, followed by Australian John Thani, and in third place, the Italian Ramy Morete Claudio Germo.
The conclusion of the championship was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al -Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Engineer Duaij Khalaf Al -Otaibi, President of the Arab and Kuwaiti Shooting Federation and the Secretary -General of the Asian Federation of Shooting, and a number of managers and officials.
