The unemployment rate among young people exceeded 24% in the Arab countries and the Middle East

It started within the work of the preliminary day of the World Government Summit in its new session of 2025, the activities of the largest gathering of its kind for young Arab leaders in the presence of a group of stars in several fields such as art and sports.

The activities of the sessions began with a major speech delivered by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the young Arab leaders Khalfan Jumaa Belhoul.

Bellaoul said that the unemployment rate among young people exceeded 24% in the Arab countries and the Middle East, which is twice the global average.

The activities held at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel include a dialogue session under the title “Preparing young leaders for the challenges of the new world with the former head of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait Marzouq Al -Ghanem, then a dialogue session with the Minister of Finance and National Economy in the Kingdom of Al -Bahri, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

While the main session will discuss the mechanisms for building a new economy with young leaders, and the founder and chairman of the Board of Directors of Damac Real Estate Company, Hussein Sajani.

The gathering receives a group of Arab leaders in entrepreneurship, and Arab stars who have emerged in international forums, among them the former player in the Saudi national football team, Sami Al -Jaber, and his counterpart in the Iraq national team Nashat Akram, and the star of the Emirates team Ismail Matar and the player Ali Al Habsi in the Oman national team.
