5 players representing the UAE in the Tunis International Judo Youth Championship
Abu Dhabi, February 10/ WAM/ The Judo Youth team will participate in the Tunis International Championship, whose competitions will be held from February 13 to 15, among them 21, including five Arab countries, the UAE, Morocco, Algeria, Leba and Tunisia, the host, along with a number of strong teams Like France, the United States of America, Croatia, Canada, Britain, Serbia and Tajikistan.
The mission, which left today, Mohamed Jassim, the assistant secretary of the federation, is headed by the coach Jaafar Al -Nakhli, and five players are Hamid Al Shamsi, Mohamed Walid Al Naqbi, Masoud Mohamed Al Mismari, Anas Khamas Al Yamahi and Taht Ahmed Al Hashemi.
The organizing committee set the evening of next Wednesday, as a date for the championship lottery at the hotel and resort of “Carthage Talaso Gammart”, after the completion of all delegations, with the start of the next Thursday morning, the sports hall, Arena with the young competitions and then the youngsters and concluded with the youth category.
His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al -Darai, President of the Emirates Judo Federation, urged the mission to the need to make the most of that participation that includes strong teams from different continents of the world, in a way that contributes to providing opportunities for international friction in front of various ancient schools, indicating that the tournament comes within the union plan that has been determined Its goals are to pay attention to the Sunni stages teams, with the aim of providing a strong base at the level of the reserve teams.
