The College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University concluded, “Game Design Camp”, through “10” technical projects, presented by college students.
The closing included an accompanying exhibition entitled “Games Design Camp projects”, which included the “Soul” project, which reflects a game of mystery and adventure for the hero’s journey towards self -discovery.
The “Is this Dream” project as an adventure game to discover mysterious worlds, and the “Ladon” project, which is an interactive game directed to children who suffer from stuttering, as well as the “Fire Memory” project, which is a memory and mental challenge game that enhances the speed of thinking.

Enhancing technical skills

The exhibition, which was presented by the Innovation Center at the College; The “Super Jama” project, which reflects an enjoyable journey with the brave sentences in the Saudi desert, and the “Let’s Cook” project, which is a game about a basket that collects ingredients to prepare a meal.
The “Torn” project included an adventure of two brothers who disappear in mysterious circumstances, and the “IGLTO” project, a multi -player cooking game to provide traditional Saudi food, in addition to the “Echoes of Dead” project as a horror and adventure game, and the “Heroes of Freedom” project represented in the adventure game Domestic dimensional.

The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information at Princess Noura University, Dr. Manal Al -Ohali, explained that “the establishment of such courses, technical exhibitions, and participation in local and international competitions, constitutes part of the college’s support for its students, motivating them to innovate, and promoting technical skills, in the context of promoting The national capabilities that achieve the comprehensive experience required by the labor market.

Digital games development

It is noteworthy that the “Games Design Camp” lasted for “5” months; In order to enable female students to enter the field of digital games, and to raise their level of creativity and technical innovation.
The camp includes a series of training workshops, interactive lectures presented by a group of electronic games industry, and in several topics, among them: Introduction to the basics of game design, gaming programming using the latest technologies, and the design of characters and virtual worlds, with a focus on promoting creative thinking, And teamwork between posts.
The camp comes within the efforts of the College of Computer Science and Information to contribute to achieving the strategic goals of Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman 2025, by raising competitiveness, promoting cognitive and skill enrichment, and contributing to building the future society; In line with the Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to empower women in various sectors.
