Real Madrid outperforms Barcelona… TV broadcasting revenues decline

Revenues from television broadcasting rights in the Spanish League for the 2024-2025 season amounted to 1.43 billion euros, recording a clear decline compared to 1.49 billion euros last season.

The newspaper “Marca” reported that Real Madrid topped the list with revenues amounting to 157.52 million euros, slightly ahead of Barcelona, ​​which received 156.45 million euros.

The two clubs witnessed a decline in revenues, but Barcelona’s decline was greater, by about 6 million euros, compared to a decrease of only 2 million euros for Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid maintained third place, but suffered a noticeable decline, as its revenues decreased from 117.89 million euros to 108.17 million euros.

The second level list included: Athletic Bilbao, 72.26 million euros, Real Sociedad, 67.80 million euros, Real Betis, 64.67 million euros, and Sevilla, 63.95 million euros.

In the “Club of Fifty” there are Villarreal 57.81 million euros, Girona 55.64 million euros, Valencia 52.53 million euros, Osasuna 48.09 million euros, Celta Vigo 45.77 million euros, Getafe 45.46 million euros, Mallorca 43.89 million euros, Alaves 43.46 million euros, Espanyol 43.42 million euros, Rayo. In general, the total revenues of first-class clubs fell from 1.35 billion euros to 1.29 billion euros, reflecting the growing intensity of competition from other European leagues.
