المملكة: King Khalid International Airport launches a comprehensive process to improve the passenger experience
Admin announced King Khalid International Airport announced the implementation of a comprehensive development process for lounge transfers (transportation between lounges) aimed at raising operating efficiency and accelerating the Travel.
The first phase of the process begins from February 16 to 25, and focuses on three main axes:
– Improving operating efficiency.
– Facilitating the passenger experience and making it smoother and faster.
– Facilitating movement (transit) between domestic, international and national flights.
Improving the quality of services
The expected objectives of the airport’s development process will be as follows:
– Increasing the total transportation capacity from 42 million passengers in 2025 to 56 million passengers by the end of 2026.
– Achieving an increase of up to 33% compared to the previous year.
– Bringing the distances between the terminals closer, which reduces travel time.
– Facilitating the transportation of passengers on connecting flights, bringing the number of beneficiaries annually to about 7.5 million passengers.
The airport management confirmed that This step comes within a broader plan to develop infrastructure and improve the quality of services provided to passengers through King Khalid International Airport.
