Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed meets the members of the Board of Directors of a company "Xrg"
Abu Dhabi, February 10/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, met the members of the Board of Directors of the Global Investment Company “XRG” in the fields of gas, chemicals and low carbon energies.
During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the company’s investment plans and ways to contribute to meeting the growing global demand for low -carbon energy solutions.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of giving priority to the initiatives and programs that achieve the qualitative growth of the company and its specialized gas platforms, chemical materials and low carbon energy, which reflect the interests and targets of ADNOC for the company “XRG”.
His Highness noted the importance of strengthening global strategic partnerships that contribute to achieving the vision of good leadership, through the implementation of qualitative projects that support sustainable economic growth.
The adoption of the launch of the company “XRG” during the annual meeting of the “ADNOC” board of directors last November, with an institutional value of more than 290 billion dirhams (80 billion dollars), to ensure the contribution of “XRG” in meeting the growing global demand for energy and support for sustainable economic growth, By expanding the scope of “ADNOC” investments in low carbon and chemical energies.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and CEO of Adenk and its group of companies, Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of “XRG” and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mubarak bin Nawi Al Mazrouei, Head of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs, Head of the Abu Dhabi Office Executive and His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary -General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Jonathan Gray, Chairman and Executive Officer of the Black Stone and Naez Sawiris Chairman of the CEO of “OCI Global” and Bernard Loni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Prometheus Hybrekes”.
