The Kingdom accounts for 50% of the digital economy in the region
This came during the press conference held by the Government Communication Center at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Center with an insight, in conjunction with the “Lepe 2025” conference, in the presence of the Minister of Information Salman bin Youssef Al -Dossary and the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology M. Haitham Al -Ohali, in addition to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming and Dronese, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Alliance” Faisal bin Saud Al -Khamisi.
Digital economy in the region
Al -Safah pointed out that the digital economy in the region has grown by 73%, and the Kingdom acquires 50% of the digital economy in the region, which reflects its pioneering role in this field.
He stressed that the Kingdom, with the support of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister – may God protect him – has become Riyadh as a global destination for investment in artificial intelligence, as the conference witnessed the announcement of investments worth 14.9 billion dollars.
He cited a number of investments, including the cooperation of “Groke” with “Aramco Digital” to pump $ 1.5 billion to expand its investments into the cloud computing supported by artificial intelligence.
In addition to investing two billion dollars by the Saudi “machines” and “Lenovo” Chinese to establish a manufacturing and technology center based on artificial intelligence and robots in the Kingdom.
Global confidence in the Kingdom’s environment
He explained that these investments reflect global confidence in the Kingdom’s investment environment, and confirm its commitment to enhance its position as a global center for technology and innovation, noting that the number of technical specialists in the Kingdom increases from 150 thousand to 381 thousand, which reflects the rapid growth in the fields of technology and innovation.

He concluded his speech by emphasizing that these achievements come thanks to the constant support from the wise leadership – may God protect it – and its keenness to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which aims to diversify the sources of income and enhance the digital economy, so that the Kingdom is among the leading countries in the fields of technology and innovation.
International platform for digital transformation
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming and Dresses, Faisal bin Saud Al -Khamisi, confirmed that the “Leip” conference has become a global platform for digital transformation.

He pointed out that his idea was launched under the direction of His Highness the Crown Prince -may God protect him -by establishing an alliance company to ensure the sustainability of the event and convert it into an annual event that enhances the Kingdom’s position in the technology and innovation sector.
He revealed that the conference has become a major worker in attracting technical investments, as evidence of the conclusion of many companies, agreements equivalent to a full year business.
He also praised his contributions to strengthening the economic movement by stimulating the hospitality sector and creating new job opportunities, including the participation of inspirational children in the operation of the conference who are part of its success, stressing at the conclusion of his statement that “Lip” has become a qualitative shift in the global technology scene.
