The Philippines seeks to enhance cooperation with the UAE in the fields of governance and crisis management

Dubai, February 12 / WAM / His Excellency Ernesto Perez, Director General of the Bureaucracy Anti -Democratic Authority, affirmed his country’s endeavor to enhance cooperation with the UAE in improving governance and combating corruption and bureaucracy.

Perez said, in statements to Emirates News Agency “WAM” during his participation in the work of the second day of the World Summit of Governments 2024 in Dubai, that the Philippines are currently working on digitizing government operations as an effective tool in fighting bureaucracy and corruption, which contributes to accelerating administrative reforms and achieving better resource management Government.

In this context, he pointed out their endeavor to benefit from the experiences of the Emirates in this vital field, pointing to the size of the state’s digital capabilities to support the empowerment of governments in various countries of the world and to whistle government bureaucracy, as well as enhance the ability to withstand crises.

He stressed that the Philippines seeks to become free of corruption and bureaucracy, by adopting innovative digital solutions that contribute to simplifying government procedures and achieving transparency.

The Director General of the Bureaucracy Anti -Democratic Authority in the Philippines said that his country’s government has made remarkable progress in the field of digitization and improving the performance of the government sector, and continues to discuss ways to enhance cooperation with various countries in the fields of governance and crisis management to achieve aspirations.
