UAE investments enhance economic growth in Latvia

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Evica Celina, confirmed that Emirati investments enhance economic growth in her country, noting that there are large areas of joint cooperation with the Emirates, especially in the sectors of technology, artificial intelligence and tourism.
On the sidelines of her participation in the activities of the “World Government Summit 2025” held in Dubai, she said that Emirati investments in her country contribute to enhancing economic growth, considering that Emirati investors will be “ambassadors for security and stability” through their partnerships with the Latvian economy.
She added that economic relations between the UAE and Latvia are growing at an accelerated pace, stressing the importance of knowing the future of the Emirates, especially in the shadow of the Latvia website as a member of the European Union, which provides opportunities for close cooperation with the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
She pointed to the presence of common denominators between the UAE and Latvia, where the two countries are working to enhance cooperation between the government and the business sector and scientists, and said that some Latvian companies have already started building partnerships inside the Emirates, while “Eagle Hills”, one of the largest Emirati companies, invests in Latvia to Next to a number of Emirati businessmen.
She explained that Latvia, as a small country within the European Union, has flexibility and speed in making political and economic decisions, which makes it an ideal gateway to enter the Gulf countries into European markets.
Evica Selena, who is visiting the UAE for the first time as prime minister, praised the global government summit, noting that she accompanied a delegation that includes ministers and representatives of the private sector and scientists, in a move that reflects the identity of Latvia that combines these three components to enhance development, and said that she met with the Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri, and the Minister of Health and Community Protection, Abdul Rahman Al -Owais, along with a number of representatives of the private sector, where they discussed ways of cooperation in various fields.
