Ukraine loses two -thirds of its areas of control in Kursk

Ukraine announced Thursday that it controls 500 km square from the Russian Corsak region that intends to use it in an exchange process with Moscow, which means that its forces lost two -thirds of the area it controlled in August when it launched its kidnapped attack on this area.
The Russian army exceeds its Ukrainian counterpart, many and equipment, which allowed it to gradually restore the lands occupied by Kiev in this border area in western Russia.

Compromise

In August, the Ukrainian forces launched a kick on Corsak, during which they took control of 1,400 km from this Russian region, and this area fell to 800 km square in November.

Kiev hopes that the Russian territory under its control will use a bargaining paper in any future peace negotiations between it and Moscow.
On Thursday, the Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Forces Olksander Serski wrote on Facebook, “We have our own security area on the Russian Federation’s territory covering about 500 square kilometers.”
He added that this “security zone”, which was enhanced by controlling thanks to local attacks recently launched by his forces, “forced the Russians to transfer their most efficient units to other regions.”
